Balmain x Trudon - Cire Trudon

Olivier Rousteing, Balmain's creative director, is a long-time fan of Trudon candles. Ernesto's fragrance is his favourite for both his home and his studio, which is why it's no surprise to find the candle prominently displayed at the Balmain flagship store on rue Saint Honoré. Hence, the design of the new Balmain x Trudon candle, as a result of a unique partnership between two prestigious Parisian Maisons.

The glass, inspired by Balmain's iconic "marinière" pattern, is horizontally striped and features two distinctive colours: gold and black. Frontal emblem printed in black velvet and gold. The process of creation is also particular and is based on on the application gold leaf manual on the clear glass, before it is lacquered in black. The result is that each candle is truly unique. Emilie Bouge managed to give Ernesto, a floral and feminine twist.
