L'eau Trois - Diptyque

On the heights of Mount Athos, after a long march, one sheltered from the scorching sun between the whitewashed walls of the monastery.
And opening the doors, the smell of the resinous shrubs mingled with that of the incense and myrrh that burned during the services.
It is said that the woody-spicy scent of the resins soothes the soul and mysteriously invokes silence.
One can imagine the three wise men arriving silently to offer gold, frankincense and myrrh.
