Paola Grizi
Paola Grizi grew up in a family with an artistic vocation, with a grandfather who was a painter and sculptor and an aunt who was a ceramist. An arts graduate with honors, a publicist, she worked in publishing and journalism before devoting herself professionally to sculpture. In 2014 she won 1st prize at the 3rd International Biennial Artistic Ceramics Competition in Ascoli Piceno, and in 2014, 2015 and 2021 she was invited by the Chinese government to represent Italy at the China Changchun International Ceramics Symposiums, where she created works for permanent display. In 2015 she won the special audience prize at the 35th CICA International Competition in L'Alcora (Spain), in 2016 she was invited to be part of the Jury of the 36th edition.
In 2016 she was selected by the Pontifical Gregorian University for a contemporary art project at St. Peter's Church in Cologne (Germany). She currently collaborates with the Casart company in Paris for the production and international distribution of her bronze sculptures, including monumental ones.
Her works, in bronze and terracotta, are exhibited in museums and galleries in Europe, Asia, and America.
