Penhaligon's
Penhaligon's is one of the protagonists of the history of artisan perfumery, creator of collections, wrapped in a legendary aura, famous all over the world.
The prestigious house proposes olfactory codes linked to the English tradition and an elitist and refined production.
William Penhaligon is an eccentric and non-conformist alchemist, he soon began to create creams, potions and colognes which did not take long to fascinate the aristocracy and the upper middle class of the city. Towards the end of Queen Victoria's reign, William Penhaligon was appointed barber and perfumer to the Royal Court.
Since then, Penhaligon's has been awarded the prestigious Royal Warrant by Her Majesty Queen Alexandra in 1903, His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh in 1956 and, most recently, by His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales in 1988.
