Description

In the Middle East, a promise made between two people is accompanied by a strict code of honour. Frédéric Malle celebrates this value with a promise made by him, whose beating heart is composed of two precious rose varieties: the essence of Bulgarian Rose and Turkish Rose absolute, enhanced by apple, pink pepper and clove, and enclosed by a sensual base of patchouli, powder and labdanum; a lasting and invisible accord like that of a promise.
Dominique Ropion began his training at Roure Bertrand Dupont in Grasse, before working in Paris with Jean-Louis Sieuzac, one of the greatest technicians in perfumery.
Today he is IFF's leading perfumer and his work is distinguished by a mix of precision and freedom and by the constant search for new and harmonious accords which arise from the combination of opposing ingredients. Adventurous and instinctive in his creative phase, he is also extremely rigorous in the final stages of the formulation of each of his fragrances.
