Description
Highly unusual with its high percentage of vetiver (close to 25%, three times the dose contained in other vetiver fragrances), "Vétiver Extraordinaire" arouses new enthusiasm for this classic male olfactory category. Dominique Ropion uses a new essence of Vetiver Haiti freed from excessively bitter notes and combines it with five woody notes to emphasize the various facets of this noble raw material. The result is surprisingly fresh, sparkling and harmonious. A purified note, meticulously fine-tuned to express the essence of vetiver without ever taking the easy way out. The perfumer: Dominique Ropion trained at the legendary Roure Bertrand Dupont laboratory in Grasse, before working with Jean-Louis Sieuzac, one of the greatest technicians in perfumery.
Today he is IFF's leading perfumer and his work is distinguished by a mix of precision and freedom and by the constant search for new and harmonious accords which arise from the combination of opposing ingredients. Adventurous and instinctive in his creative phase, he is also extremely rigorous in the final stages of the formulation of each of his fragrances.
NOTES
