With the Matiere Première collection of scented candles, perfumer Aurélien Guichard captures the purity of each raw material-incense, saffron, tuberose, and sandalwood-to tell the story of life, from the earth to the aromatic breath that pervades the room. Each candle is a fragment of living nature: 95 percent natural wax, hand-poured in handcrafted lacquered Bohemian crystal glasses, with pure cotton wick. Authentic scents, never constructed, that evoke moments of warmth, introspection and harmony.
